Dreams

When I was little I used to think about my dreams and what I wanted to be when I was older.  The only two things I ever wanted to be was a gymnast and a cashier at a grocery store!  I know, big aspirations!  But as I've gotten older I've realized that I don't need anything big or out of the ordinary.  I am so happy with my routine and I am so thankful for the gospel and my families!  There is nothing that brings me more happiness than that!  I know I would not be where I am today without my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  My dad always says something like "Most people never live up to their full potential."  And I think about how true that is!  Which brings me to another quote I read in a book "If we are God's children and he is infinite, then our potential is limitless."  I love having the thought of having the will power to do what ever I put my mind too1  I need to be better at believing in myself!

A day in the life of the Brown's

This is my mom, Nate, and me, after my mom had just finished the Ogden half marathon!!  She is so amazing and she runs a lot.  I definitely hate to run but she is a good inspiration.  I love my mama so much!  I miss her every single day because she is so great!  When I was little she used to read me this book...everynight...called "Ship of Dreams."  Which is where my sister Elise and I came up with the name for my blog!  I want to be a mom just like my mom!  I'm so blessed to have two perfect parents!
This is us in Disneyland, on our honeymoon!  We are both so nerdy and we have so much fun together! We had to go back and get a second picture because the first picture Nate didn't like haha he is funny!  Today he told me he would go to the store to buy some stuff for dinner and I said ok I will come too and he said why don't you stay here and rest because I wasn't feeling good (hence why I'm up at this hour, because I had caffeine and my body is not used it so now I'm super pumped) anyways, I stayed home and when he got back he went to "put something away" in our room and when I was walking to our room, I saw in the hallway a pair of new nike shoes I have been wanting!  He had bought them for me without knowing!  He is so sweet and he is so patient with me--I think he is perfect (I have found no flaws yet).
